In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Fukui Institute of Technology Alumni Association, we will be in charge of making a request for a school song monument of our university. After about 7 months of development and production from the request in April 2019, it was unveiled at the “50th Anniversary Ceremony of the Alumni Association” on November 30, 2019. In the research and development, starting from the proposal of two simple models for reduction, consideration of the installation site, selection of marble to be used, etc. will be completed. The school song monument is a transcript of Mr. Kosida, the chairman of “Japan Calligraphy Association/Bokusyokai”, and was finished by etching on polished stainless steel.
I hope that students will continue to be familiar with the course of Fukui Institute of Technology.

Renewal design of ”FUT Tower Christmas Illumination” requested by Knai Gakuen Headquarters was done by Miss Kimizu , a third year student of the Design Department, and two other students. I participated as a planner/supervisor and ran through at once from the selection of students` initial plans to the switch turning on in early December.
The complete renewal plan for the previous illuminations, which lasted for more than 10 years, was completed by a wonderful cooperative play between the student and the contractor, and the “lighting ceremony” was held in the clear night sky on December. 3, 2018.
We want you to continue to shine as a new symbol of Fukui City, which has a long and seasonal feeling.
