This educational institution has now entered
its 57th year. We have come along way from the electrical school
set up in 1950, not long after the end of the Second World War,
on the strong belief in the need to produce young technicians
who would become involved in rebuilding a new Japan. In that time,
built up with Kanai College (our organizational heart) as a base,
and now with Fukui University of Technology as the center of the
hub, we have developed a comprehensive educational network which
also includes a graduate school, a senior high school and a junior
high school.
We have made a point of establishing an education system which responds to the particular
abilities of every single individual. We have striven to establish a system of to learning
support, education and research to facilitate the acquisition of basic foundational knowledge.
Based around our superior education and research system, we actively seek to introduce
cutting edge equipment and facilities, endeavoring to keep our education and research
environment in best condition. In an age of increasing internationalization, we connect with
universities in Europe, North America and Asia, in order to facilitate the acquisition of
specialist knowledge with a broad international perspective. We also seek active links with
senior high schools, and strive to improve language skills and knowledge levels.
We endeavor to be an educational institution which contributes to, and works in partnership
with, the regional community. We seek to promote industry-university cooperation for
research purposes. We wish to be firmly rooted in the local area, offering educational
courses for local people through Kanai Gakuenfs gFuture Schoolh. Thus we aim to be an
educational institution which can exist in tandem with the local community.
At this college we seek young people with lots of vision. We wish to support such people to
help them make their dreams become reality, to help them make their dreams grow in scope.
We hope to continue the task of building the Japan of the future, providing an education to
young people of potential, and turning out exceptionally skilled graduates.
